Pull up Mr Ghoshal

You’ve known mekh for a long time now. Neil, you know how you can breathe life into a paper when you hold a pen in your hand and note book, but when you thought of sending your entry in that world-wide writers competition with one lakh participants, you decided against it because you thought you didn’t stand a chance.

You know how your words can make people sob into their hands in the middle of nowhere, or how you can make hundreds of people rise into a rebellion with a simple twitch of your pen that many people like to refer to as a wand, but when you got an opportunity to finally showcase your talent, you thought, “Aren’t there a hundred people better than me?”
You have been told how wonderful a cook you are, and how you can make mouths water with the simplest of your dishes, but since when you lost a neighbourhood cookery competition to a woman 20 years your senior, you have lost all your enthusiasm to participate in one.

You are a RAW technology geek, updated with every hour’s of national development that technology makes, thorough with the specifications of all the gadgets that are released by the day, but when the time comes to participate in the quiz that takes ten screening tests, you immediately step back thinking of the humiliation you’d face in front of your friends if you don’t clear them all.
Where is the problem, you think? What went wrong, you wonder? What should I do, you ask?
The only problem that came in the way, the only thing that went wrong when you were more than capable was that you forgot to take yourself seriously. Just Mekh won’t fetch you dow Mr.Neil. she is gone don’t live in that nightmare.

Even when you knew about your abilities, your capability to work hard, you backed off and made way for someone who wasn’t as good as you because you were too busy thinking of  her and the consequences that would arise in case you fail to meet her expectation.  Where are you now think about it.

Because you were too afraid of failure in front of her and while you were thinking all about it, the one thing that slipped from your mind is that failure is still a step ahead from where you are now.

Not everyone is as gifted as you. Not everyone has had a blessing cast upon him, to be as good at something as you are. Not everyone knows how perfect it is to be what you are. I am so impressed about your versatility in things that you do.  It’s a gods gift.

But then, not everybody is afraid of failure. Not everyone thinks about repercussions more than he thinks about the success. You have lost a lot Neil. Wake up. I am so proud that you received much deserved first round of funding use it well.

Start from today. From now. Start taking yourself seriously. It will just take few years to show people what you are capable of . Put up Mr.Ghoshal.

“If you don’t believe in yourself, then who else would?”

Yes, maybe you aren’t perfect. Maybe, you will never be as good as your idol. Maybe, you’ll never see the face of success, and taste a sip of what it feels like. Maybe.
But I’ve got this feeling that you, the one reading this, have got a great idea.
